Kenya - St Francis Karen

St Francis is our link church on the outskirts of Nairobi in Kenya .  Although it is quite a wealthy suburb, the parish of Karen includes the slum village of Kawinda.  The church is led by its vicar, Simon Muoko and the curates, Alfred and Lillian.  Active membership numbers about 250.  There is a very vibrant ladies’ group and a small group seeking to bring change to the people at the slum village where St Francis has now planted a church.  Since the link was formed people have exchanged visits.
